As we turned in our midterms, the professor provided us with a class in meditation. In my case it really helped me relax because I have been having a long stressful week full of midterms. It was something new and interesting to do because I am always on the go and active and I do not give myself the time to relax. My way to release some stress is going to the gym and taking my kickboxing class, which implies the active life of mine and no time to take a long breather. We tried out different positions that made our bodies work out, but at the same time it was relaxing. It was a great way to start off the class because later on into the class we were gonna be dancing and using our whole bodies. I have to say that the meditation really did calm me down to the point where I was about to fall asleep. On the other hand, I had a lot of fun using my body for the dance moves that we learned that day. I never really thought of having the opportunity to use my body for different types of dancing moves.
